New DigiVideo: Buck Buck in the Barrio

When I was recently in Southern California, I did the unthinkable - I brought just one lens to accompany my camera.  I know.

But I did not do that much shooting, except for some video of my friend and her chickens.  Trish adores her chickens and I have to say, on Sunday morning when she fried up the fresh eggs that her ladies emitted just moments before, they were durn tasty.  So maybe this Spring I will build a coop and get myself some chickens.

In the meanwhile, spend a few minutes with Trish and her chickens.  As you can see, her son has caught the bug as well.  I have said to Trish, if she would leave California and head east, her with a couple of acres would be a sight to see.  I do believe that she is a farm girl trapped in the city.

And for the record, this was shot with a Canon 7d, with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens and a Sennheiser mic in the hot shoe.
