A liberal pressure group has accused the U.S. Catholic bishops of breaking tax law by faithfully proclaiming the non-negotiable issues of Church teaching, including the right to life.
These teachings, the organization argues, disadvantage President Barack Obama.
On Friday, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) asked for “an immediate Internal Revenue Service investigation into the activities of the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops for using their position as leaders of the Catholic Church to persuade parishioners to vote against Barack Obama in Tuesday’s election.”
The USCCB “may be engaged in prohibited electioneering,” which would require the IRS to revoke its 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt status, according to CREW.
Cecile Richards is the president of Planned Parenthood, a 501(c)3 organization.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka is looking forward to some "flexibility" in a second Obama term should the president win tomorrow. Trumka told the Atlantic an Obama re-election will bring back card check, or in other words, the elimination of a secret ballot for union members.
The AFL-CIO is a 501(c)3 organization.
Don't be fooled, people. These people are out to destroy democracy and they view the Catholic Church as an enemy that is to be eliminated.

Adoration. And lots of it.
People are beginning to protest that regulation that was passed in 1954 to ban pastors from preaching specifics. LBJ sponsored it because (of course) pastors were preaching about him. I think it would behoove the church to get rid of its tax-free status. Smaller and more devout!
