I paused to pray for Fr. Mychal Judge, who died in the tower while giving Last Rites to a firefighter. He was a priest who knew personal struggle in his faith, being gay and a recovering alcoholic. I asked him to pray for an intention of mine. Maybe it will be his step towards sainthood. I hope he takes it up.
