At least not at St. Albert the Great Church in Knoxville, TN. The Homily was devoid of some of the insipid and theologically unsound speech I have heard in the past from Catholic priests, where Modernist Father Embraceall uses his sermon to explain that in today's Gospel - the story of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes - the "REAL" miracle was that all these people had Biblical coolers full of tailgate feasts that they shared among themselves.
Please - if you are ready to explain away the miracle that Jesus perform, then the next step is to explain away the miracles of healing, ad hell, after that you might as well say He never died, but was in a coma and so His Resurrection was really Him coming out of it due to the ministrations of the womenfolk, and that's why they were there at the tomb on Easter.
And at that point . . . stop calling yourself "Christian."
Dear Father - you DO believe the sun danced at Fatima . . . don't you?
