A few posts below, I discussed the anarchy that was growing in California, when a protest against police brutality becomes reason for property destruction and looting. If that is the new recreation of the poor youth, however, when societal forces collapse, these 20 to 30-something hipsters in Brooklyn will be easy pickings, if they not already are:
At least Civil War re-enactors and members of the Society for Creative Anachronism study the history and strive for authenticity. But to be a grown-up and indulge in organized cardboard tube fights for "fun" is pathetic.
