A curious scene, taken about 1979 or 1980, showing a family group having a picnic by an old junked car. This was in Rodman's Neck, an isthmus close to City Island in the Bronx, NY.

This group seems to be children with their grandfather, who has taken them out for a day of fishing and fresh air. They almost look like gypsies.
