Do not believe the Obama Administration gives a rat's patootie about the rule oflaw or the safety of America's citizens.
The Obama administration said Monday it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police.
Interesting, not even an executive order. Simply, "Hello, Homeland Security . . . Arizona who? I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number."
So it's Obama saying, "Neener, neener, neener, Jan - that's what you get for shaking your finger at me. SCOTUS says you can't enforce your law except to verify immigration status and we are not going to enforce ours there, either. Sucks to be you, don't it?"
In effect, Obama has disenfranchised Arizona from the union with regards to immigration control. So why stay in it, Arizonans?

I thought the previous acts of this administration were egregious - Obamacare and its individual mandate (we have to pass the law to find out what's in it), requiring Catholic institutions to provide "services" that violate religious covenants, Fast and Furious, and the latest executive order on non-enforcement of immigration laws and award of working permits (under what authority?), but this just goes beyond any of those. At least the former acts were under some (even if dubious) color of law. Constitutional Law professor? What was he teaching? As President of the United States, he swore to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. His administration's failure to respect the rule of law alone is reason enough to vote him out of office. I disagree with every policy he implements, I dislike him as a person, but this is unforgivable.
