All is fair in love, war, and social media

I started this blog to be sort of an exercise in self-therapy.  I think it has worked - if not for me, for others, especially those who may have found themselves the topic of blog posts.

But the Blogger app has its limitations, especially with commenting.  That is one of the things that makes Facebook so popular - to express your approval or sheer enmity, you can hit a button or take the time to type "this sucks lol" and hit "Enter."

In the past, I invited people to become my Facebook friends, resulting in . . . a helluva lot of friends.  And so I've created a Facebook page for my alter ego, The Digital Hairshirt.  You don't have to "friend" me; you only have to "like" the page.  Then say whatever the hell you want.

Here is how it will work:  what I post here, will appear over there.  But what I post over there, will not always be here.  The content of the Facebook page will be more.

And that also means that if I know you personally and you don't "like" my Facebook page, I can snark on you as much as I want.  Ah ha ha ha ha.  You know I will.  Sure, you could pop over and view it without liking it, since it is a public Facebook page, but let's face it - people are lazy.  Like it and it will appear in your news feed.  Dislike it and it won't.  Be completely passive-aggressive and like it one day, hate me the next, return back in a few.

Let's just have some fun.
