Nola has seen the light due to a chance encounter with a hobo. Me and my affectation for Mary Worth!
An honest life is the best life. Do you know to whom it is the worst being dishonest? Yourself. Because if you mistreat yourself, you will never treat others rightly.
Think about this: the martyrs of the Church did not seek martyrdom. They sought to bring the Kingdom of God to this world. Other circumstances, however, brought martyrdom to them - which they accepted. We do not like people who are selfish, but a manifestation of such a trait is self-imposed martyrdom, whether figuratively or literally. Who says you get to "die" - whether that means losing your actual life or sacrificing a part of your life, such as religious do - and get the glory without putting in the work first? People who view their life's work as a burden grow to resent others. There is no sacrifice, there is no honesty.

Tariq Ramadan: Shariah Law and U.S. Constitution Go Hand-In-Hand

"The protesters waved American flags and signs that read anti-Shariah slogans, reflecting a larger movement in America that currently calls for the ban of Shariah law. In two dozen states, politicians have introduced legislation prohibiting the courts from taking into account Shariah, which has problematic implications for Muslims."
