March for Life, Baby!

Okay, it is settled - The Digital Hairshirt and The Crescat are heading north together to fight for thr unborn at the annual March for Life in Washington, DC.

No, this will NOT be a repeat of when we crashed Occupy Charlotte and wound up feeling just friggin' GREAT at The Thirsty Beaver.

WE ARE ON A MISSION FROM GOD!

I went last year. Wish I could be there to post bail money for the two of you, though . . .

Hey, I attended the West Coast Walk for Life in San Francisco, and despite the presence of some rather "colorful" protesters, including one that screamed the "c word" at a Dominican nun, I managed to avoid arrest.

I will bring my meds, I promise . . .

Digi,

You have probably visited the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception - just a short ride on the Metro at the CUA campus - gorgeous.

DH...just down the road a mile from the Basilica is a MAGNIFICENT treasure called "The Franciscan Monastery"...Wonderful tours on the hour of amazing replicas of Holy Land sites including the Tomb of Christ and the Annunciation Grotto...don't miss it! and afterward, walk 2 blocks to the San Antonio Grill...GREAT Tex-Mex and Margaritas.
