I am slowly but surely creating a photo essay on my Flickr account with my pictures from the 2012 March for Life that was held in Washington DC on January 23, 2012.
Unless you are in the pro-life movement, you may not have heard about it. Let me give you some statistics. At the Vigil Mass held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the official count was 17,851 persons in attendance. Some 500,000 particpated in the rally and march, that stretched from the Mall to the Supreme Court. Pretty big f**kin' deal, to quote Mr. Biden would you not say? But it was largely ignored by the main stream media as the pro-life, anti-abortion message is anathema to them.
I am taking my time with my photo essay that will have descriptions and commentary. I will post a link here when it is complete. In the mean time, please read the first of postings from my travel companion to the March, the ever-irascible, ever-devout, relentless Crescat.

Mind if I put the face of abortion woman up on my blog? I have prepared a commentary on it. It is a hard image to take the eyes off of.
I am undecided on the question of whether to use graphic, gruesome images in the pro-life fight, but the more I look at the image of this unfortunate woman, the more I think may be we should be using it instead.
Not at all - please use the image.
Thank you, Stephanie. It is now up.
