Just a story I heard

An individual I know shared with me a story today.

His father died.  Shortly thereafter the company for whom he worked went under.  His wife was cheating on him and left him, taking their children.  And his emotionally abusive mother started playing those mind games again. 

So he drove out to an isolated area with a handgun.  He jammed it down as far as he could into his throat.  And pulled the trigger.

And it didn't go off.

His comment after relating this story:  "No matter how joyous or not so joyous life may be--God loves us."

So, knowing that - are you ready to make changes?  Or will you literally or metaphorically take the easy way out?
