Watch out, she's got a lighter!

To the photo editors of the Los Angeles Times:

Please consider sending your staff to proper training in Photoshop, because the flame coming out of the suppsedly "fired" gun look cheesy as hell.  Also, people don't lean back while shooting and I doubt they make the "trout pout" while doing so.

I am guessing that the liberal Los Angeles Times - in reporting the story of a sheriff in South Carolina who has advised women to arm themselves - still want to deter people from using GUNS, GUNS, OMG, LOOK HOW DANGEROUS THEY ARE, GODDAMN FLAMES SHOOT OUT WHEN YOU PULL THE TRIGGER!!

Well, I suppose they would if you were using a gag lighter you got your uncle for Christmas last year . . . and maybe sprayed some hairspray in front of it, just before you fired it up . . . or if you want to use Photoshop to provide false editorialization to a story . . .
