My 5th grade son plays on his school's Junior Varsity team, and tonight was the first game of the season, against St. Mary's of Oak Ridge. The St. Joseph Bulldogs slaughtered them 28-11. No, this isn;t my son - Patrick has never played a sport before, so he still is leanring, but his classmate, Reece, who has played competitive sports since his toddler days, was on fire tonight!
Hey, so long as the boys are having fun and learning teamwork and competitive sportsmanship, that's what counts!
