Obama’s plan underscores a continuing lack of understanding of simple economic truths as they apply to the private sector, something he nor his entire cabinet understands.

Offering tax credits for small businesses that hire is insulting. It implies that businesses are sitting on mountains of profit and they are doing a robust business but “meanly” refuse to hire. 

If the customers or demand is not there, there is no reason to hire. And no business is going to hire dead wood to get a tax credit. 

This lack of understanding is the result of a mind drenched with statist thinking – just hire people for make work, regardless of their necessity.
