Obama is set to launch something of a counter-offensive on Monday with a three-day bus tour of the Midwest, a trip that includes two stops in Iowa. The White House denied that the itinerary was politically motivated, however.
He just wants to go, okay? The man needs a vacation and driving through the Midwest seems like such fun. I wonder who will be thrown under on the bus? Photo ops in front of corn/wheat/sorghum/SEIU-hired admirers in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
By the way, has anyone else noticed how often FLOTUS goes off on a lark without her husband? Problems at home, perhaps? It's not like I'd blame her . . . except I'm paying for it.
