UK: Giant End of Summer Sale!

As police were slammed for appearing to let looters run riot under their noses, [Home Scertary Theresa] May instead advocated a more softly-softly approach.
She said: 'The way we police in Britain is not through use of water cannon. The way we police in Britain is through consent of communities."
I have not heard such a stupid comment coming from someone in awhile.  No, wait . . . that actually happens everyday.  But, really, what the fuck is she thinking?  Is May planning on deploying a crack team of SWAT psychologists to speak to the "agitated" youth of London - and now other UK cities - and thus prevent further rioting and looting?

Get the water cannon.  Give an order to disperse, emphasizing that this will be the only and final order.  When the crowd lingers . . .open fire.  A few wet thugs is worth saving small shops and businesses, as well as the lives of the innocent, you dumb twunt.
Many of London's teenagers have been rioting because they "lack hope" and "feel let down by society", according to youth group leaders.
"Young people are bored and feel they have nothing to lose," said former gang member Kim Gardner, who now mentors young people in gangs to try to help them turn their lives around.
Awww.

Bonus:  pat on the back to the person who can identify the reference in the young thug's speech balloon.
