A model walks the runway during the Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2011/2012 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on July 4, 2011 in Paris, France. This was 27-year old designer Iris van Herpen's Paris debut of her futuristic designs. She employs unusual techniques and equipment for her work with materials such as leather, rubber, plastic and metal.
There was once a time when fashion was attractive and something the average woan could wear to make themselves feel good. I mean, is it not still the goal of designers to create things that would actually be used and sell? "Futuristic designs?" If that's what the future will bring, I'm holding onto my old jeans.

I'm guessing a little more fiber in her diet might help.
