The Nuge Abides

I would like to go on record that the U.S. government is now more offensive and in violation of self-evident truths and God-given individual rights and liberties than the British government was in 1775.
If there is going to be a revolution, I am happy to have Ted on my side.

Look, is his rant extreme?  Sure it is.  But there is also a lot of truth in it, so read it carefully.  He is not alone in his opinion and a tipping point could come, even before 2012.

This year marks the 150th anniversary (April 12, 1861) of the beginning of the Civil War.  I don't think armed gunmen are going to start running in our streets, but let's say, "What if . . ."  As an example, what if the people of, say, San Bernardino county - California's largest - decided to simply break away from the state through a vote of its board of directors, notified Sacramento of the same, and began self-governing.  Is Jerry Brown man enough to send in the National Guard to take it back?  What if they refused to go?

As the Chinese say, may you live in interesting times.  Call Ted Nugent's rant the ravings of a lunatic, but note - it's being published by a national newspaper.
