Let Beisbol Be Beisbol

For the past year, activists have been calling on Commissioner Bud Selig to move the game away because of Arizona's reprehensible SB 1070--that obviously isn't happening, so those activists went on to ask Latino ballplayers such as Boston Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols to boycott the game.

That's probably not going to happen, either. Which is why another group of activists have now released a petition asking for the least that baseball players can do--wear a white ribbon to protest SB 1070.
No, that is not Gustavo in the video, despite rumors to the contrary

And if that doesn't work, we'll ask them to give the "hi sign" for the He Man Woman Haters Club.  And if that doesn't work, we'll ask some random Latino to pull on his ear at the end of the game.

Or . . . how about for once we just have a ball game without any political overtures?  Because the crowd at the game will  not be all-Caucasian, it will not be all-Mexican, there will be illegal aliens and there will naturalized citizens, and old and young . . . and they are all coming together to enjoy a game.
