Hello from the Grand Canyon

Taken June 20, 2011. During my trip across country to move from California to Tennessee, my friend, Leanne Hebert, accompanied me. We were making good time and she mentioned that she had never been to the Grand Canyon. I immediately screamed "Side trip!" and we went.

I like shots like this - rather than get the majesty of the canyon, why not go for the majesty of the tourist couple, posing next to it?

I processed it as a quadtone, just to make it a little more unworldly.
