This was taken October 3, 2010 at the 3rd annual Blessing of the Waves held at Huntington Beach, California. It is an event sponsored and hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Orange and features prayers offered by various clergy of different faiths for the preservation of California's beaches, the ocean, and those men and women who find delight in it, whether surfers, boogie boarders, divers, etc.
This young lady was one of many teens who came to offer their prayers.
