No, I don't have an Aunt Carmen, but maybe back in the 30's someone belly danced on the weekends to make ends meet, or just to have a little extra for a new dress

I dated an Armenian girl when I got out of the Army and her sister was a belly dancer. Problem was, both of them had moustaches.
