My friend, John Kuntz, is celebrating his first summer as a resident of the Inferno and Yawning Abyss of Torture known as Phoenix, Arizona.
What a whiner - so it is 8:00 pm and still 107 degrees. So children and dogs have been known to spontaneously combust in the Phoenician sun. So Death Valley actually recorded a lower temperature. It builds character.
This photo is for him. And for my friend Rita, as she and I are going on a photoshoot holiday in New York in October, and I wanted her to see what to expect. This is on the grounds of the Chuang Yen Buddhist monstery in the Catskills.
