I went today to the Annenberg Space of Photography in Los Angeles. If you are visiting the area and plan to do museums, and love photography, go here. Their current exhibit through October is award-winning photojournalism pics for 2009. This is a shot of my friend, John, standing outside the museum today and looking laid back Californian.
Couple of things we noted today:
1. You only win prizes for photojournalism if your topic is depressing as all hell. There is no happiness in photojournalism, just war, economic depression, malaria, gangbanging, pollution, and Obama.
2. All male corporate drones wear blue shirts. As we watched lunchtime strollers and diners outside by the office buildings, 9 out of 10 male workers was wearing a variation of a blue shirt. Sheep.

Isn't that "Father" John?
Kathy, yes, that is Fr. John Moneypenny. Sometimes I play hooky from work on a Thursday, his day off, and we go on an adventure.
Don't call it playing hooky. Call it taking a "P, P day." That's Pray and Play.
We did pray over our lunch. I introduced him to my favorite Korean restaurant, Kang Nam, near the corner of Olympic and Crenshaw, in the heart of Koreatown.
