I went over to Costa Mesa this afternoon to check out the fiesta for St. John the Baptist Church. While there, I got into conversation with this Notre Dame fan, who was waiting for The Fenians to start playing. He had a date - his 98-year-old mother.
You meet the nicest people at church festivals.
