Went this last weekend to a church festival in Costa Mesa, CA, at St. John the Baptist Church. I love such things but was quite disappointed to see that the company operating the rides had indistinguishable carnies - these looked like average folks hired from a temp agency. Give me the true salt of the earth, the itinerant carnies!
