Europe is probably lost. Call it Eurabia and be done with it. At the age when I threw a backpack on and slept in cheap, filthy student hostels in my college years, I am not sure my children will be able to do so, except maybe in Poland. My daughter would likely have to wear a hijab to avoid problems.

Cultural terrorism. A man can place a Crucifix in a jar of urine and the intelligensia hails it as art, but a cartoon of Mohammed must be avoided for fear of "offending" cultural sensitivities. Our Attorney General, Eric Holder, cannot bring himself to say the words Islamic extremists.

The house of Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, who sparked controversy by drawing the Prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog, was targeted in an arson attack overnight, police said Saturday.

In 2007, Swedish regional daily Nerikes Allehanda published Vilks' satirical cartoon to illustrate an editorial on the importance of freedom of expression.

An Al-Qaeda front organisation then offered 100,000 dollars to anyone who murdered Vilks -- with an extra 50,000 if his throat was slit -- and 50,000 dollars for the death of Nerikes Allehanda editor-in-chief Ulf Johansson.
