I played rugby for 7 years. I will not even begin to tell you the stories of the drinking that ensues on & off the pitch. Oy! I am blessed to still be alive with a functioning liver.

I think you nailed it a few posts ago when you mentioned addictive personalities being more of a factor in so-called "gateway drugs" than the drugs themselves. That said, I am not especially enthused over the prospect of legalization. By the fence but not quite on it, as it were.
But this...I don't have any clue how that ever even occurred to anyone to try. How it caught on is completely beyond me.
