On a cool but sun-drenched Sunday, the president and three golfing companions went to Andrews Air Force Base to play 18 holes. It is the 32nd time Mr. Obama has played golf since taking office Jan. 20, 2009, according to CBS Radio's Mark Knoller.Because golf is more important than lending support to perhaps the only strong democracy in Eastern Europe., even if it is only to sign a goddamn book after unforeseen circumstances prevented travel to Poland. I now believe that his advisers actually do tell him what to do for appearances' sake, but they are routinely ignored by his immense ego.
After canceling the Poland trip on Saturday, the White House announced that Mr. Obama had no public schedule for Sunday. He was to have arrived in Krakow in the morning, attend the 2 p.m. funeral and leave for home by 5 p.m., arriving back at the White House after midnight.
Mr. Obama has not gone to the Polish Embassy in Washington since the accident, but Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. both have. There, they signed a condolence book.

I think it's great that he likes golf so much:
1) he can't **** us over any more when he's out doing that other than new ways to screw over the country.
2) I like sudden thunderstorms along the Potomac when it starts to get to be the muggy season. What better place for his ass to be standing than with a metal rod in his hand in an open area with not all that much around him.
And Fr. Erik -- where's our media sob story of the day about all the homeless people on the streets due to their house being repossed by the bank? Where's all the "jobless in California" stories.

What do you expect. When he cancelled the missile defence for Poland he did it on the anniversary of the Soviet invasion in WWII. Talk about throwing Poland under the bus.

CE - the trick is to convince him that he is so Zeus god-like that he himself could do the deed and survive it.
Personally, my own dream would be for him to get hit by a bolt of lightening with the CAMERAS running to capture the whole thing so that no one can say "it was those evil racist republicans and tea party people" - -of course the idiot liberals would try and haul God into court. I'm just sorry God seems to be out of the "smiting" department. It would make our lives a lot easier.
