In a statement released to NBC News, Edwards said, "I am Quinn’s father...It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me."The child has released her own statement, saying she'd like to return to living the lie.

So, evidently, one of his aides said that Edwards had him steal a diaper in order to check paternity.
This, of course, could go in two directions:
1. There's a Lisa Nowak joke in there somewhere.
2. The tests revealed that what was in that diaper proved Edwards to be the father....a big piece of SH**.
