Jung runs a seminar called the Coffin Academy, where, for $25 each, South Koreans can get a glimpse into the abyss. Over four hours, groups of a dozen or more tearfully write their letters of goodbye and tombstone epitaphs. Finally, they attend their own funerals and try the coffin on for size. The idea is that this is going to be motivating for you to leave the seminar and live life to its fullest. One company is even paying for its employees to attend this seminar.
However, critics now are leery because South Korea has the highest suicide rate in the developed world.
Some suggest that the mock funerals are a how-to manual in a nation where, experts say, ruthless competition and financial stress lead many to kill themselves.
As I look outside my home office window, I see a gorgeous read sky of a new dawn. That's enough for me.

The monastic tradition (and Catholic as well) of "momento mori"--remember that you will die is, well, not quite like this...especially if folks are "offing" themselves in great numbers!
I think you are better off doing what you're doing!
Thats what happens when your daily diet consists of kimchi and fish heads.
Please keep in mind that most Asians do not practice any religion that has firm tenets on what happens after death. "Nirvana" is not a particularly solid idea. They have no idea what death will bring for them!
does anyone think porn is the only business still thriving during the credit cruch? I think many folks seek refuge in buying and wanking porn during the crunch
