Temperatures stayed below zero for much of Saturday. Des Moines was at minus-1 by 3 p.m.I don't miss the bitter cold from back East. I was watching the Jets game last night and I felt uncomfortable sitting in my family room. My husband thought it great that the Jets' manager was all macho wearing nothing but a turtleneck and a sweater vest.
