It Was 20 Years Ago Today

I was on the TGV, barreling through the French countryside from Paris to Neuchatel, Switzerland, while on business. My colleague was dozing and I happened to glance at the newspaper headlines on the paper being read by the man across the aisle.
Tombé.
I shook my colleague awake.

"Todor, wake up!"

"What?"

"The Berlin Wall! They tore it down!"

Where were you?

Today, a prayer in memory of that great American, Ronald Reagan. Thank you, Mr. President.

I was a college freshman, watching the news while getting ready to go to class. Can't believe it's been so long.

May I suggest that anyone who is in SoCal make a visit to the Reagan Library. There you will refresh your soul and also see a chunk of the Berlin Wall close to President Reagans gravesite. We have been 4 times and it is always such a great place to visit and cleanse your mind of the weeks PC bullshit.
