I saw the videotape. Get over it. Joe Wilson probably made the most honest statement made by a politician in a long time. If you have ever watched the question-and-answer sessions in the British House of Commons, what happened during Obama's speech was minor. Maybe it is about time the President has to think about what he says and the reaction it could get before he makes a speech.
Decorum? Go see SondraK's blog posting here for a great perspective on that. Also Amy Proctor's blog.

and there's this instance from history (courtesy of Wikipedia) "Preston Smith Brooks (August 5, 1819 – January 27, 1857) was a Democratic Congressman from South Carolina, known for physically beating Senator Charles Sumner on the floor of the United States Senate." Get the gory details here
Wilson voiced EXACTLY what the majority of people I know have wanted to say to this guy since day 1. For a long time even before the election I avoided calling him a liar when I was in "discussions" with people. When the issue of his infanticide voting came up and he outright LIED was when I had had enough and since then I will absolutely pull no punches. He is a L-I-A-R. He is dishonest and his agenda IS malicious. This is NOT a man that has America's best interest in mind and he is deliberately attempting to harm her. He is a communist and he is doing everything he can to try to make this a communist country. The parallels between his ideology and communism are endless and frightening.
I applaud Joe Wilson and sent him an e-mail supporting him 250%. All of the liars in DC need to be called out for what they are. Just don't ask me to say what I want them to say. This is a family blog afterall. Is it Digi? Fuck I don't know.

I thought it was undignified and unprofessional to disrespect President Bush. I think it is undignifed and unprofessional to disrespect President Obama.
We can disagree without being disagreeable.
