Cheap Date

Last night I had the pleasure of sitting outside on the cigar patio at Original Mike's in Santa Ana and listening to the very, very fine band, Cheap Date.

Cheap Date is composed mostly of six siblings - The Hirotas: Tim, Ellen, Peter, Dominic, Ann, and Mary - who have been playing music together since childhood. Catholic. Conservative. And talented.

I am not music committee this year for my church fiesta, so they will not be playing St. Joe's, but if you need a band for an event, look no further.
