Seriously, after the fiasco that was Bernard Parks, Bratton was welcome relief to Los Angeles.
Oh, and to clueless news media in Los Angeles - it's a Boston accent, not a New York accent. Yeah, yeah, I know . . . we Easterners sound all the same to you.
BTW, as a resident of Santa Ana . . . Chief Walters, we love ya! Just a shout out to our own Top Cop (who should have been selected as Orange County Sheriff, but let's not go there).

Agreed Digi - he will be missed. Like other, though, I didn't realize his accent was Bostonian until I heard it on TV. :>(((
I especially liked that he recommended recruiting from within. Good Man !
