I live in D.C., but if I were at the Grand Canyon and was inconvenienced by this jerk, despite him being the POTUS, I would be P.O.'ed.
Why didn't AF1 just fly down into the Canyon and scare the hell out of everyone?
And since the closest airfield is 6 miles away and affected 2 highways, plus the need to close BOTH RIMS of the Canyon and THE CAMPGROUND, you can bet there were plenty of peeved Republicans (remember this is in Arizona, the home of Senator Barry Goldwater!).

I just can't get over the fact that the First Family of the USA doesn't know appropriate dress attire. They knew going in to this job that there were certain criteria (dress codes, etiquette, etc.) that had to be attained.
Where is the Czar of Dress Codes?

I live in Europe, and I can tell you that Madame Sarkozy would rather handle snakes at the Holiness Church (if there were one in Paris!) than dress like that. She wouldn't even take out the garbage dressed like that.
Hell, even Angela Merkel dresses better.
