Have attend many a SciFi Con when I was younger, I can attest that Trekkies were the most normal group (a relative thing). Star Wars geeks could be pretty bizarre (imagine women dressed as Princess Leia from Return of the Jedi would REALLY shouldn't be). Though the old school Dr. Who fans (i. e. Whooters) tended to be the strangest.
If I made fun of the Trekkies yesterday, I guess I have to make fun of the Star Wars geeks today.
