One of my high school classmates has, sadly, turned away from Mother Church and became a Mormon. He is one of my Facebook friends.
Facebook allows you to see other "non-friend" photo albums in their entirety when one of your friends is tagged in any one picture, rather than just the single picture where your Facebook friend was tagged.
These photos - and the one in the posting below - came from an album called "NYNYN Mission" placed on Facebook by one Keven McGill. Classy, no? I wonder if it would make a difference to his bishop if these were brought to his attention. But what the heck - I'll send a letter to the temple in Manhattan with the photos on Monday.
By the way, from his new profile picture on Facebook, that's Keven in my posting below. If he comes riding by your neighborhood, say hello for me, won't ya?

A couple of my good friends online are Mormon--they are great people. Do I agree with the whole Mormon thing...well no. Do I agree that LDS has it's fair share of yahoos? you bet...this clown needs an eye opening experience.
Like Buzz, i also have several Mormom good friends. I don't fully understand all their beliefs but do recognize them as being caring, loving people. Mormons take care of their own - I like that.
DammitWomann(bTW, I think your moniker is a hoot!) I am glad most of them seem to be reliably prolife. The real "out-in-left-field" beliefs is that they believe they too can become Gods in charge of their own celestial kingdoms. Unlike most protestants, who merely want to be their own pope, these people think they can become their own god. The males, anyway.
I have Mormon friends, too - and they would want to knock this young pup upside the head for his stupidity.
DW, when I worked for Andersen Consutling, we did a project for the business of this eccentric fellow named Severin Wunderman. A Jewish Holocaust survivor, he often remarked that if he wasn't a Jew, he'd be a Mormon for that exact same reason - they take care of their own.
As for the taking care of their own For years my wife worked for Jones Intercable...a wonderful company owned by Glenn Jones. He sold to ATT Broadband and the local office was run by a man with no cable experience who was Mormon...soon every opening was filled with people who had no experience that were all somehow oddly from Utah...all men NO women. Someone would quit and a new fresh faced 26 year old in a white shirt from Utah is now doing the job once filled by an experienced former employee of 15 or 20 years. When the company was sold again all these people got "packages" and they went on to other business with the same practice.
Digi--
Don't send it to the NY temple president. Send it to the office of the first presidency in SLC with a copy to the Catholic League. I guarantee that it will be taken care of. They hate bad publicity.
No welfare is needed for Mormons. They have their own food pantry to be utilized for people in need. I like their dedication to families, also.
DammitWoman,
The only problem is that it is questionable whether the same help is available to you as a Gentile. I suspect the answer is no.
So no welfare is needed . . . but no welfare is given.
I still have to applaud their family values. Perhaps they can't feed the world, but they at least feed their own. There is something to be said about that.
Well, I don't think this pussy had much of family values growing up if this is his idea of being a man.
Either Ma and Pa McGill have their shortcomings, or Moroni Boy here should pay them back for the money they forked over for his mission (and if they're smart, they shouldn't pop for BYU tuition, either).
SHAME ON YOU! You're proud of this? You think this is funny?
Father, forgive him. He knew what he was doing.
I just now happened across your site and as a Mormon, I have a suggestion. Don't send the letter to the Manhattan Temple, it's an entirely different part of the Church; send it to the Missionary Department of the LDS Church, 50 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Unfortunately, every church has it's fair share of morons. I'm sorry for his animosity towards the Holy Father. Years ago, I was a Mormon missionary in Italy and was treated very kindly by many Catholic clerics. There's simply no excuse for the pictures posted by this McGill fellow.
