Viral Kitteh

I am home wheezing and coughing today, so in celebration of my virus, I will blog about things that go viral on the Internet.

As I see it, what I have could be TB, could be ebola, or could be a head cold. Hard to say. But I feel as if someone is saying to the Grim Reaper, "Play her off, keyboard cat!" Which leads me to the latest silliness that is making me laugh . . .

You guys, we stumbled upon a new meme that's buzzing on the Intertubes. Think your favorite FAIL videos mixed with a dash of cats and Disaster Girl. Sounds good right? Meet Play Him Off, Keyboard Cat.

The idea is to take a "fail video" (a video in which someone does something incredibly stupid, at least in your own opinion) and combine it with a video of this cat (now deceased, I understand) in a blue kimono "playing" an electronic keyboard.

It even has its own website now. If it hasn't already, I expect iPhone to have an app that plays that music, so that each time someone does something stupid in your vicinity, you can turn to another person and say, "Play him off, keyboard cat," and cue the tunes.
