President Barack Obama promised Monday to deliver more than 600,000 jobs through his $787 billion stimulus plan this summer, with federal agencies pumping billions into public works projects, schools and summer youth programs.
The kids are out of school in a week. Shouldn't he get started on this?
Oh yeah, and the jobs are seem to be in the public sector, increasing the bureaucracy. Not like we'd want to stimulate private business anyway, unless they are willing to be owned by the government. Say, that reminds me, I meant to call up GM and tell them to drop off a new car this week . . .

Didn't CA just cut all their summer programs?
BTW... the kids only qualify if their parents are on welfare or are low income.
