Okay, I have to admit that was my first thought too. "Damn, I will NEVER get that Reader's Digest check from Ed."
I think he was a great guy. AND, actually a pretty good actor too. I don't normally watch Jane Fonda "because" but my parents INSISTED I watch "Fun with Dick and Jane." [George Segal loses his job..etc.] Ed played "the boss" who had the unenviable task of firing people. He was excellent in the supporting role. I was quite surprised more film people didn't pick him up for roles.
Does this mean I'm not getting my check?
