Dodger Hogs

The Vegas style buffet comes to Chavez Ravine.
Purchased in advance, a ticket to the All-You-Can-Eat Pavilion costs $25. If you were to buy an advance ticket to the left-field bleachers, you'd pay $11, but one hot dog, peanuts and a soft drink would have you up around $25. So the smart shopper heads for right field.
Dodger Stadium has a deal - a right field bleacher seat for $25 that includes an "all-you-can-eat" ticket to the concession stand.

Dodger dogs.

Nachos.

Soda.

Don't need to buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack's. It's included in the price.

Beer costs extra, but that still makes this a bargain. I recently went to an Angels game and things get expenseive when kids want a hot dog and a soda and then some popcorn. Plus, in Los Angeles, the Dodger Dogs are legendary. Don't get me wrong - when I am at the ballpark, I ain't watching a game unless I have (a) a beer, (b) a hot dog, and (c) a bag of peanuts. That would be like having tofu shaped like a turkey at Thanksgiving if I didn't.
Dang. My brother is a big guy. Next time he's out, I'm taking him to a Dodger game just to see what damage he can do.

Wow. I would so be right there if the Tigers did an all-you-can-eat game deal.

Which is probably why I need to lose so much weight... :-(

I grew up in SoCal and well remember the Dodger dogs. I also remember listening to Farmer John commercials (Vin Scully shout out!) during the games. Aah. Memories.

Maybe if the Nationals did something like this, somebody (anybody) would come to see that sorry team play.

My Brewers are playing the Marlins right now and if there are 1,000 people at the games, that's a lot.

I will report in on the prices and dog quality at Fenway...going to the Yanks-Red Sox game on Wed. with the Beloved! Got seats at field level, 5th row and right above the dugout at first base!!! (Sorry to bust in on the glory of your In-N-Out lovefest with Padre Pyro this weekend...)
