Hundreds celebrated in the streets outside Staples Center after the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA title win Sunday night, with some revelers damaging police cruisers, throwing rocks and bottles at officers and setting bonfires in the street, authorities said.
My husband suggsted that the NBA change its name to the FBA for Felonious Basketball Association, feeling as he does that the league is populated by a bunch of thugs. So it doesn't surprise me that the fans "celebrated" with this behavior. Guys with jacked up pickups have been flying Laker flags from their car indows for some weeks now. I am always curious to know if they are current on their child support payments.
Well, in a few months, the Raider Nation flags appear.
