. . . because I couldn't find a decent cilice in my size.
I just watched this clip shown on Hannity. It is so despicable! Hannity was supposed to interview Alan Keyes but Randall Terry sat in for Keyes who is being held in jail without bail. I'm just sickened.
They were arrested for Trespassing. It seems to me, back in my public library days, we only had people arrested for trespassing if they were a Danger to the public. Such as threatening one of the staff or patrons. I worked a tough branch. So, Dr. Keyes and friends were singing, praying the rosary and in that way were being a threat?Notre Dame should be strong enough to handle critism, and peaceful demonstrations. Although, maybe demonstrators might want to raise the prayers up just outside in front the University's reach. Bring cameras and upload it on Youtube! Because, if they weren't arrested we probably wouldn't have seen it on the News.Dr. Keyes is in jail until Monday. That is despicable.
Notre Shame, sucks bigtime.
Would a Catholic institution of higher learning have a praying priest arrested on its campus?
In a way this is a good thing. Folks eyes are being opened. Notre Dame hasn't been a Catholic school for a long time.
"THERE IS NO EMERGENCY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME. THE CAMPUS IS OPERATING UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS."--Statement on ND official website.
Sorry to say that the same kind of attitude has crept into the hearts and minds of the once brilliant Jesuit REGIS UNIVERSITY here in Denver.I am beyond anger......its the red curtain of rage!
Digi... this is simply sickening.
I saw the video Sunday AM. I started crying. It was hard to breathe. The daily abuse of the citizens by the US Government is unworldly. My imagination is unable process what is in store for our Church and our country. There are no bridges when a Priest is handled this way at ND. Thru personal and collective sin the prince of darkness is more visable. Being silent about this worm aids in the takeover. Jesus hates lukewarm souls. Ora Pro NobisMay the Holy Spirit bring all to the devotion of praying the daily Rosery.
