My Prayers Are With Miss Norma, Alan Keyes, Fr. Frank Pavone, et. al. This Weekend

In nearly four months in office, President Obama has pursued a careful two-pronged strategy on abortion, enacting policies that secure a woman’s right to the procedure while vowing to move beyond the culture wars that have divided the nation on the issue for more than three decades.
Wait, his strategy is simply to "vow" to "move beyond the culture wars," as if by his fiat there will be no more debate about abortion? But actions speak louder than words and look at the first part of this "careful two-pronged strategy." In short, to pro-lifers, Obama is simply saying, "Screw you, you don't count, I won."
This weekend is Notre dame's graduation. Keep in your prayers and thoughts pro-life warriors like my friend, Miss Norma McCorvey, Alan Keyes (shown above), and Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life, all of whom will be in South Bend this weekend to participate in a protest against The One's presence and the university's honoring him.
Lordy, I wish I had a ticket to Indiana!

SondraK just posted the results of a new Gallup poll.

51% of a sample of 1,015 voting age adults identify themselves as "pro-life" compared to 44% a year ago.

WoW!!! Now if we can get Lightnin' to strike the speaker's podium at Notre Dame tomorrow....

(can I pray that kinda prayer?)

Alan was arrested AGAIN today and has been denied bail. Also arrested was a 78 year old priest. The cops decided to lay the latter down onthe ground too.

Jenkins should hang his head in shame. I would LOVE for the bishop to "tresspass" saying the rosary etc. and lead a protest march on campus this Sunday. That would be great. The ND powers that be would have to arrest him to be consistent...then the bishop could yank Jenkin's faculties. I'd love to see that last.

Fr. Jenkins probably would not hesitate to have Bishop D'Arcy arrested...what better way to tell the bishop who is in control?
