I'm Still in the Running!

Il Giornale claims that the appointment of a new US ambassador to succeed Mary Ann Glendon has proved difficult because of the “strained” relations between the White House and the Holy See, which has been less than enamoured of Barack Obama’s public support for both abortion and stem cell research.
US media reports suggested that Ms Kennedy had originally been proposed to Mr Obama for the job by Democratic senator John Kerry by way of reward for her support for the president during last year’s election campaign.
I could not think of a lesser qualified person. Oh wait, yes I could - most of the Catholics in Obama's camp. See, it's not a "real" position, anyway - it's a "reward." Because the Pope, he's the spiritual leader for a handful of people, ooh, say, about one billion plus worldwide.
But I am still available, Mr. President - give me and my family the resources to live on the gummint's dime in Rome and I'll take the position.

Even with President Clinton, he pulled a pro-life Democrat Mayor Ray Flynn from Boston back in 1993.There are a few left, meaning pro-life Democrats, such as the Governor of West Virginia. What aren't any of these few viable candidates for the post.

I think she is a alcoholic just like her Uncle. She trips around looking for significance and true to the term of denial she refuses to see she is in-signigficant.
