I Am Officially Classified as a Nut Job

So sayeth the Department of Homeland Security.
Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
And to where will this lead? Oh, g'wan, you know what's coming up next, right?
Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of rightwing extremist groups, as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for violence against the government. The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by rightwing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement.
But in light of Obama's recent proposal to cut benefits and make veterans pay for their own medical:
The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today.
Your tax dollars at work.
On the plus side, I hear there's bingo and sing-a-longs every Tuesday night in the re-education camps . . .

Yeah, I saw this a few weeks ago. I remarked to my godmother, who'd sent it to me, that it makes me want to join the Militia Immaculata, just so I can have a snarky answer when the Feds come a-knockin'.

"Why, yes, Federal Officer, I do belong to a militia!..."

The gubmint loves to portray the 'rightwing' as crazed nuts with the thought of taking over the gubmint by force or intimidation...

However, the gubmint never portrays the 'leftwing' as crazed nuts with the thought of taking over the gubmint by force or intimidation...

So the question remains for the gubmint to answer is this...

For every Timothy McVeigh you fear who could bomb and create havoc, how many leftist libtards from the 1960s onward have done the same?

Bueller...Bueller...Bueller?

Goth,

Leftists are not a concern. When I did the Walk for Life in San Francisco, I knew they would be ugly, but not threatening. However, if the same pro-life walk had been held in Seattle, I would have left my 11-year-old daughter home, fearing an encounter with anarchists.

"'I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion inton the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,' he continued. 'That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm states' rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

"'I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union,' he said."

State governments, for quite some time, have believed that the federal government is intruding on matters that the Constitution leaves to the states, imposing unfunded mandates, ordering states to pass and enforce laws under penalty of civil or criminal action. The federal government has used block grant money as a weapon to make state governments bend to its will.

The 10th Amendment of the Constitution reads, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

If you agree with this please forward to 10 people in 10 minutes and tomorrow by 10:10 am you will be surrounded by 10 DHC agents

Baawwaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

So funny Stephanie. I've just got to laff for now. I did call the minority members on the DHS committee today and the staffer I got at Peter Kings office (ranking Rep) said I was the first call!!!! (3:30pm!) Said that Peter hadn't seen it yet and I said I guess he and others are having all they can do to stop the multi-Trilliion Dollar crime against this nation but he assured me they're gonna hop on this.

Duh. He is the Ranking Member so I guess he may have heard of it but the a) staffer didn't know it, b) he will be doing somehting.
