Happy Earth Day

It's Earth Day!

In celebration, today we shopuld all do our part to conserve energy, recycle goods, and reduce our carbon footprint on this planet that we all share. We can start by using public transportation today instead of driving, or better still, walking or biking. We can encourage self-sustenance by planting our own gardens and staying home to tend to them, just as our agrarian ancestors did. In fact, that should really be the catch phrase of the day - stay home. Clean the area around your home, make sure trash doesn't mar your local public park or green space, support local businesses and reduce the dependence on fossil fuels.

Do you know how much energy was used and the carbon emissions in this blog post?

I,m gonna do my part as well. First I'm going to stop and go on the freeway so I can waste gas and pollute. Then I'm gonna throw my trash out in the parking lot and take a piss next to the dumpster at work. All the lights will be on at work and I'll run the air conditioner even if its not that hot. Yup, I'm a good Amerikan and wanna do my part to help.

Walter, if it was enough to ensure the exinction of a small species of gnat, then I'm happy.

Cuchieddie, I'm gonna keep my eye out for you at the dumpster . . .

I'll do my part...I'll use paper cups for coffee this morning instead of the petroleum-wasting FOAM cups. And to reduce my carbon footprint, I'll be sure to turn my toaster setting down slightly so it doesn't burn quite as badly as normal. Lastly, I'll breathe as much, deeply and fast as possible and burn as much gas as possible so that I can build up CO2 levels in the atmosphere....after all, plants need it to survive and give us back O2, right?

Two things popped to mind, first and most importantly, please avert your eyes from Eddie...he's shy you know, and secondly, I guess you hadn't heard that Air Force One is now wind powered, ZERO carbon emissions.......
